To begin the new year, we’ve set aside time to finally redesign and relaunch our own website - something we’ve been meaning to do for months!
We’ve also added a blog to help us keep you up to date with the latest Katana news, and share tips and advice on the things we learn while working with new software, new services and new clients.
A Brief Look Back At 2012
2012 was a really busy year for us and we hit the ground running! As well as continuing work with our existing clients, we partnered up with a new and exciting opportunity which is in the final stages of development and due for a Spring release. Rubymotion came along in the summer which dramatically changed how we develop iOS applications and, although there were some teething problems with the first few versions of the software, it’s proving to be a really valuable tool for us.
In Autumn, we released Paleo Feed, a mobile app to keep people up to date with the news in the “Paleo Diet” community. It has been well received by the paleo community and sales have been steadily climbing since it’s release.
This Winter, we also designed and built App Starter, our own free guide for those who are looking to launch their own mobile or web app but don’t know where to start. The app is complete and is currently awaiting approval in the App Store, with an online version to follow shortly. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available to download.
What’s Coming In 2013?
We’re really looking forward to 2013. We already have some unique and interesting projects underway and will no doubt meet more clients with interesting ideas as the year unfolds. More exciting though, are our plans to launch our own online web services this Summer. More information on those, and upcoming client projects very soon… So how do you like the new site design? Please feel free to leave a comment below! Happy 2013 everyone!
