Case Study: Synergee

Synergee is an exciting mobile app and web service (still under construction) by the New York based company. The service utilises Big Data to provided merchants with a powerful way to target and engage with hyper-specific audiences, while offering consumers better value and more relevant deals on their purchases.

Our role

We worked closely with Synergee since 2011, developing and maintaining their marketing website, mobile application, and admin portal web-service.

Like most startups, the Synergee business model evolved over time, as did our role with the company. Our work ranged from website development, to mobile app, and even a little game design.

Synergee uses principles from the emerging field of gamification to learn about consumer likes and interests, and use this information to provide real-time, hyper-local, and relevant offers directly to the consumer.

The Synergee mobile app is an iOS app developed for consumers. The app pinpoints the user's location and finds interesting deals, venues, and people nearby on an interactive map.
